  • Rights or Temporary Privileges

Excellent comedian with spectacular delivery. I just can't agree more with everything he said. It all delivered funny but very true.

When he talked about Japanese-Americans' rights being taken away only because of what they could not control (affiliation to Japan) I was like hmm, sounds like racism. You know the one where people look at you, know nothing about you and assume you are bad. "The only rights they had was... right this way... to the internment camps."

  • Never Thought of Linking Polygamy and Inequality

    The period of polygamy

    Some interesting quotes

Wherever it is widely practised, polygamy (specifically polygyny, the taking of multiple wives) destabilises society, largely because it is a form of inequality which creates an urgent distress in the hearts, and loins, of young men.

In the West polygamy is too rare to be socially destabilising. To some extent this is because it is serialised. Rich and powerful men regularly swap older wives for younger ones, thus monopolising the prime reproductive years of...

Pro black for them doesn't mean Anti-White. We will see how this goes over the next 30 - 50 years.

It is sad when you feel like you need homogeneity in order to create a safe space. Whites have been doing it for years, so it is not surprising that blacks want it too! If there is anything a white racist should support is this as it would effectively cordon people they don't want away from them, so they continue to have their safe ...

  • Difference between the 44th and the 45th approval

When a president can walk the streets without harassment every now and then, it is the best assessment of the president's job approval. I don't need bs sample statistics to tell me approval rating.

tRump on the other hand doesn't have anything. He doesn't walk nor can't he walk a mile without being harassed, so he needs security to cordon off people away.

tRump needs to be thrown to the wolves in November. No one respects him.

People who vote democrat need to use mail in ballots wherever regardless of the bull...

  • If John Urschel ever has Online Lectures, I'll Definitely Tune In

Football player turned mathematician. He's always been a math buff, but when he decided to quit football for Math I was surprised. It was during my college days when I heard of this guy.

I guess he made sufficient money and lost interest in football or had more interest in math than football or money.

Nevertheless, he is now a PhD student graduating in Spring 2021. I will wait for the days he is a professor and has lectures on Vector Calc or DiffyQ. HA, maybe he'll have more advanced topics!

  • I Wonder what it is like living like a Bear or any animal

    |
    Updated at

Find my self fascinated by animals sometimes. How would it feel like to not have a very complex vocal language and senses much different from a human. Would I see color or black and white? Do I label colors internally and enjoy certain colors or only label shades of colors (black and white)?

Taste of food and water, would it be the same experience as a human? Would a bear show the same expression a human would when tasting something sour?

Clearly a bear doesn't know the experience of a human and doesn't wonde...

I like watching Judge Frank Caprio's short courtroom videos. They are very lighthearted and uplifting. He jokes and interacts when he can which instills trust and comfort, but is very serious about his job.

Anyway, in one of his videos he mentioned he was a commencement speaker and uttered the title of this post.

What can I say he is one of the many judges you'd like to have on your case if you ever...

So why so many Confederate monuments? https://www.history.com/news/how-the-u-s-got-so-many-confederate-monuments

Never thought about it until the toppling of theses statues. It made me wonder why so many statues at all. The Confederacy only lasted 4-5 years. If the Confederacy can have a legacy that spans after losing a critical war, then what makes it that their practices don't influence the future when there was tolerance to it all in the name of FREE SPEECH? Their monuments should have been banned at the ...

  • Not Sure Why Twitter or Facebook allow China based accounts

If their services are banned over there, why allow any China based accounts at all? One should expect most accounts from there to be fake garbage accounts where no money is made relative to the garbage they force you to store and track.
