    Absolutely retarded... This herd mentality, I swear they need to be chewed out and fired. Traitors, the lot of them. You'd think they'd be the first to honor their fucking mission to PROTECT AND SERVE. Part of that mission requires not fucking spreading a pathological disease = wear a mask.

    If I interact with an officer who isn't wearing a mask then I will make sure one way or another that he or she wears a mask to gain my attention.

    Quite simply... I type in gmail.com and BAM shows me my mail. It is straightforward, no bullshit. No fucking loading screen, nothing. Just shows me my email.

    I would like to get back to those days where shit like this just worked and was very much low overhead on consumer and business. Even if your phone was on a shit network, mail would load quickly.

    Probably time to move over to an open source email server and dump GMail and all these other bullshit feature upon feature providers. Who is asking for all of ...

    This is an elegant solution that I quite appreciate because it uses zero data bytes:

    some_flag CHAR(0) DEFAULT NULL

    To set it to true, set some_flag = '' and to set it to false, set some_flag = NULL.

    Then to test for true, check if some_flag IS NOT NULL, and to test for false, check if some_flag IS NULL.

    (This method is described in "High Performance MySQL: Optimization, Backups, Replication, and More" by Jon Warren Lentz, Baron Schwartz and Arjen Lentz.)


    I can't say it is good for ORMs though.

    O Kay, I can get on board with this. Every country wants to be a shining star, so they copy the other. If you got the ability then copy the top. Only way to learn is to copy. Nothing wrong with that. Only thing that is wrong is to sell the copy at significant decrease to stifle out the original. That's where the problem is.     I realize that PS5 is out therefore PS4 is on its way out. There's PS2, PS3 games I still haven't beaten. I only bought a PS4 in 2019. Significant lag time considering I had PS2 and PS3 early near launch. Yugeeee Sony fanboi. Kind of "growed" up, less stress in general and work took time (day and night) and headspace, so didn't play too many games over 2010s. Still want to beat FF12 and 13... I beat 15! Anyway, I've committed to beating some of the adventure and rpg games I bought over the last year for PS4...
