Hi Stakes Markets Game is now feature frozen. I should have feature froze sooner, but I needed to add support for the Bond Market. A financial simulator without the bond market is hallow. Bonds are debt instruments, it's how governments and corporations raise money to remain active. It's how investors can seek a stable cash flow rather than rely on fluctuations of the Equities and Derivatives markets.
Binary Options (Prediction Market) are more fleshed out and implemented now. It's take all or nothing, so these can be a crazy source of income or loss. You wager YES or NO on strike prices of assets. You can best YES an asset will trade higher than a price (strike price) or NO it will be lower than that price. I got lucky with one stock in the game and opened 10k contracts with an out of the money no, the price came falling unexpectedly and boom, more than 16,000%+ increase in value. It's fun, its amazing and can't wait to see you try this.
In the Hi Stakes Markets, we offer many different instruments to wield as your disposal in your quest to take risks and amass money. It's in-game money that you can use to purchase giveaway entries. I don't think I've talked about giveaways too much, but yes Hi Stakes will offer weekly, monthly and quarterly giveaways. Weekly will be gift cards, monthly and quarterly will vary between virtual and physical.
I think derivatives will be the most used in the game, there's too much euphoria in being right even if you are wrong most of the time. The prospect of winning a prize for your play time adds more incentive and morale to play. There's a goal, something to spend your hard earned in-game money on.
Yeah so there's a few finishing touches left, validation then I focus on content creation primarily, fixing bugs and adding whatever I need to the HSMG administration application.
I can't say this month will see a release, but next month looks better. I will need to go through app store review which will be not so fun. I also wanted to submit the app to some app store promotional things which could likely delay.
